Columbia City Farmers Market

The Farmers Market --- a beehive of activity just off Rainier on South Edmunds --- operates every Wednesday afternoon from May through October. The market attracts over 50,000 shoppers each season and is the hub of neighborhood activity, as residents and visitors catch up with each other while filling their grocery bags with fresh produce straight from local farms.

Over 40 farmers and small food processors from around Washington State provide an incredible feast, where the farmers are the stars!

Columbia City BeatWalk

Five dollars doesn't go very far when you're looking for an evening of live entertainment --- unless you use it for the monthly Columbia City BeatWalk. A neighborhood tradition, BeatWalk is our monthly music celebration, where a single $5 cover charge gets you into a host of live music venues. Most nights, Beat Walkers can expect to enjoy everything from live jazz and indie pop, to family dancing and rhythm and blues.
