CCBA

The CCBA cherishes what we share as Columbia City stakeholders.  We strive to move forward as a community, supporting those who are here and welcoming those who are arriving.

OUR VISION

Columbia City will always value its indigenous history and the friendly small-town atmosphere of its turn-of-the-century roots. We will adapt to change while remaining a place where a diverse residential population converges to meet neighbors, accomplish a full range of daily activities, and support independent locally-owned businesses. We will continue to focus on being a family-friendly dining, shopping, services, and arts & entertainment district. Our safe, welcoming and walk-able community will attract both residents and visitors. We will continue to be an inclusive district that welcomes people of all races, sexual orientations, religions, countries of origin, economic status, and physical and mental abilities. We will have ample commercial spaces right-sized for small business success, along with adequate parking and easy links to efficient transit.

LANDMARK DISTRICT

The Columbia City Landmark District is one of Seattle's eight historic districts. It is a collection of commercial buildings, churches, apartments and homes. Visit Seattle.gov if you have questions about the historic district or need to submit an application for a Certificate of Approval.
